Vows to reclaim mandate

In its deliberate move to resolve all the lingering In-house wranglings in the state, Nasarawa chapter of the party Thursday Inaugurated three standing Committee with a charge to vigorously embark on reconciliation drive, examine issues around all the cases and come up with recommendations where necessary for possible actions.
The committees inaugurated include the reconcilation chaired by Alh Sule Nasidi, the finance committee headed by the former minister of information, Labara n Making while the disciplinary committee is to be manned by Alh Yusuf Ayitogo respectively..
Inaugurating the committees in Lafia, Chairman of the party, Alh Adamu Ninga, admonished the 35 member omitted to intensify efforts by reaching out to all members still nurturing grudges to return home and build their party.
“We couldn’t celebrate our victory at the Appeal Court because it was an internal affairs. Help us return our brothers and leaders who are still aggrieved.”
“Not withstanding the victory handed down to us by the Appeal Court in Makurdi on Monday, this event is in furtherance to the LGA and Zonal C’tees earlier set up by the party for similar assignment”.
“The inauguration of the reconciliatory committee is to bring the aggrieved members together with a view of ending all the seeming crisis in the party in Nasarawa state
“The mile stone move is to further cement it’s rank with some aggrieved members despite Appeal court verdict on Monday.
Responding on behalf of the three committees, Alhaji Musa Nasidi, whose message in house was translated in English by Labaran Maku, appreciated the party working committee for finding them worthy to serve.
Both Alh Musa Nasidi and the former information minister, Labaran Maku pledged to deliver on the mandate given them and urged all the party members to join hands to ensure that PDP will not only win elections as usual but reclaim the party’s mandate accordingly in 2027.
The c’tee members all appealed to the aggrieved to see reason to forgive one another and return to a home they jointly built.
It would be recalled that the three c’tees are headed by octogenarian, Alh Musa Nasidi, former Minister of Information, Labaran Maku and former Vice Chairman, North Central, Alh Yusuf Ayitogo respectively.
