President Mohammadu Buhari has urged the new National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Abdullahi Adamu to be firm and fair in executing his assignment.
The President gave the charge at the Presidential Villa Abuja on Thursday, while formally receiving the new APC Chairman.
He promised that the party will continue the work to entrench democratic principles in politics and the affairs of governance.
The President used the occasion to yet again applaud the Mai Mala Buni-led Caretaker and Extraordinary Convention Planning for the successful conduct of the APC congresses and convention.
The New APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu spoke to journalists after meeting the president.
