Residents are urged to move away from riverbanks, avoid unnecessary travel during downpours, and stay alert to official updates.
The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and Nasarawa State Emergency Management Agency (NASEMA) are on standby for possible evacuations and emergency response.
Governor Abdullahi Sule has directed immediate flood preparedness and called on citizens to stay calm, vigilant, and cooperate with authorities.
