BREAKING: Tinubu Submits Three Ambassadorial Nominees to Senate

President Bola Tinubu has sent a list of three ambassadorial nominees to the Senate for screening and confirmation.

The announcement was made on Wednesday by Senate President Godswill Akpabio during plenary at the National Assembly.

The nominees include Kayode Are from Ogun State, Aminu Dalhatu from Jigawa State, and Ayodele Oke.

After reading President Tinubu’s letter, Akpabio noted, “The list contains three names for now. I am sure others will follow.”

President Tinubu, who assumed office in 2023, has not appointed any ambassadors until now—a delay that has attracted public criticism.
