Damagum faults Tinubu’s bad policy, decries economic hardship on Nigerians

The Acting National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, ( PDP) Ambassador Umar Iliya Damagum, has blamed the hardship being encountered by Nigerians on Tinubu’s policy reforms that has brought about Increased Hardship to the Nigerian people.

The embattled opposition People’s Democratic party PDP National Chairman who spoke to Journalists in Bauchi said Nigerians were going through the high level of economic crunch because of the bad and negative policies of the president Bola Tinubu, promising to vote out the ruling APC government in 2027.

” My party PDP and Nigerians will vote out APC in 2027 general elections. Nigerians are learning the bitter lesson of collecting wrappers and spaghetti to vote incompetent leaders to office”.

Damagun, who has severally been reportedly suspended by a faction of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the PDP alongside the National Secretary, Samuel Anyanwu, for alleged disloyalty to the party, blamed a section of Nigeria’s electorate of being deceived with wrappers and food items inducement to vote for President Bola Tinubu.

Damagum stated this while fielding questions from journalists on Friday during a visit to Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad of Bauchi State, as part of efforts to address the problems currently bedeviling the PDP

While lamenting that the majority of Nigerians continue to experience hardship owing to the policies of President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress APC, the PDP boss declared the the ruling APC was not was never prepared for governance from inception of the administration since the assumed leadership in Nigeria

“The APC was never prepared for governance so how do you expect any good to come out from them.Those that collected spaghetti and wrappers to bring in this government are feeling it more than anybody else and this should be a lesson for all of us that we should look for credibility , those who are actually proven and tested, those who are ready to govern us, not those with the slogan ‘it’s my time’ like they have always said” Damagum declared.
