I’ve forgiven my betrayals during 2023 elections, sues for peace – Nasarawa. PDP Assembly Aspirant

A former house of assembly aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), during the 2023 general elections, for Nasarawa Eggon East, Mohammed Ibrahim, said he has forgiven those that betrayed him during the contest, as he sued for peace in the state.

Vandalism, who holds the traditional title of Marafan Ende, made the statement yesterday when he hosted friends and associates, who paid him Sallah homage at his private residence in Akwanga.

According to him, the outcome of the 2023 assembly elections in Nasarawa Eggon East, was not what they wanted or what they worked hard for, but then that is not the end of life, so ‘we will not loose hope, because we don’t know what God is preparing for us’ he said.

Vandalism, used the occasion to sue for peaceful coexistence among his people, saying with out peace, unity and brotherly hood, no meaningful development can take place in ‘our community and the entire state’

“On my political stand, I was first a human being before venturing into politics and I am a believer in politics of greater good for the greater number of our people and that is what the focus in the days ahead will be. Our community and the entire people of the state deserves peace”

“In every contest, the human plan is always to win but nature always has a way of letting us win some and lose some, most times, for a better alternative. I have forgiven those who in any way or manner willingly betrayed our just cause” he said.

The former aspirant who also assured that PDP at the state and national levels will sumount all crisis bedeviling the party, said his ambition for 2027 is in the hands of God.

Highlights of the Sallah homage was performances by women group and Anzalu dancers from Ende community of Nasarawa Eggon LG in Nasarawa State.
