Just in: Immediate past APC National Chairman, Ganduje now head FAAN board

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Abdullahi Umar Ganduje as the board chairman of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).

 

 

 

Recalled that Ganduje had served as the Governor of Kano State from 2015 to 2023 as well as National Chairman of the ruling All Progressive Congress ( APC)

 

elected in August 2023, amidst internal party conflicts

 

 

 

The announcement was made during the formal inauguration of newly appointed FAAN board members in Abuja.

 

 

 

This is coming days after resigning as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

 

 

 

The former Kano governor had announced his resignation APC National chairman on June 27, 2025, citing health reasons for his decision, stating that he needs to focus on his well-being.
