May first: PDP urges. Workers to bear the untold hardship

The Nasarawa state chapter of the People Democratic Party, PDP has pledged a return of better welfare if return in 2027.

This is even as the party also felicitated with workers on the 2025 Workers Day.

State chairman of the PDP, Alhaji Adamu Bako Ninga who gave the assurance Wednesday in Lafia urged the workers not to relent in their unwavering push for positive development.

Alhaji Adamu Ninga who doubles as the Secretary, North Central PDP Chairmen’s Forum in a statement by his Press Secretary, Jonathan Ipaa charged the organized labour to uphold the provisions of essential services for the growth of Nasarawa State.

“PDP enjoins workers to step up efforts in supporting good governance as enshrined and promoted by the PDP in the state in particular and Nigeria in general.

“We sympathize with the workers’ current poor welfare packages which are not at par with their working conditions.

“The minimum wage of N70,500 to a Nigerian worker can not fetch a family a bag of rice which sells at above N80,000.

“The high cost of transportation and other essential services as they affect the workers are regrettable”., the statement added

Alhaji Adamu Ninga enjoined workers to remain committed to the rules and regulations guiding their conducts assuring the workers of enhanced welfare package, a sustainable working relationship the state comes 2027.
