Mdzough U Tiv Felicitates with Tinubu, Alia, Nigerians @65 Independence Anniversary

As Nigeria celebrates her 65 years of independence, the President General of Mdzough U Tiv World Wide, a Blue socio cultural group, Chief Iorbee Ihagh (rtd) has felicitated with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,m and the Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia and other Nigerians leaders from within and outside of Benue state.

Ihagh who conveyed his message in a statement signed by his Press Secretary, Comrade Nicholas Ishom, described the occasion as a very significant day in Nigeria Calendar.

He said the day remind Nigerians of the courage of the founding fathers of the nation, the strength and its diversity and the collective responsibility shared in building a United and prosperous nation.

Chief Ihagh commended Governor Hyacinth Alia for massive development and his performance so far, expressing happiness for the construction of good roads, timely payment of salaries, building of standard hospitals and restructuring of educational system amongst other projects too numerous to mention.

He said the Mdzough U Tiv is committed to contributing its quota towards state and national growth by fostering excellence, integrity, and innovation in all it does, believing that with resilience and renewed hope, Nigeria will continue to rise to greater height.

Chief Ihagh commended what he described as “the indomitable Nigerian spirit” stating that Nigerians look forward to a future of peace, unity, progress and prosperity to all.

He also identified with the President Tiv Area Traditional Council, the Paramount ruler of Tiv nation, Tor Tiv, HRM. Prof. James Ayatse, the Secretary to the Government of Federation (SGF) Sen. George Akume, Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation Prof. Joseph Utsev, Chief Judge of Benue State His Lordship Justice Maurice Ikpambese, Speaker Benue State House of Assembly, Hon. Alfred Emberga.

Others are Local Government Council Chairmen in Benue State, national and state assembly members, Commissioners, and all government appointees on the occasion of 65th Independent Anniversary Celebration.
