We are not responsible for your party crisis—- PDP

The ruling All Progressive Congress (APC in Nasarawa state has said it won’t have the patience to wait and see the exit of it’s members it described as Political ‘Pharisees, ‘Sadducees to newfound wilderness.
The Publicity Secretary of the party in Nasarawa State, Chief Douglas Otaru, said in a statement issued and made available to City Post on Friday night that the planned exit of some of its members would create a better atmosphere for the party’s regeneration in their respective areas.
Otaru who lamented that the exiting members have held people in their respective areas hostage, alleged that Photos have emerged of a meeting between some chieftains of the party and the outgoing Chairman of the opposition People’s Democratic Party(PDP), Hon Francis Enokela Orogu, generating mixed reactions on Social Media.
Reacting further, Otaru said the party cannot wait to witness the exit to their newfound political wilderness, noting that the exit of the affected members will equally save the party from their toxicities and negative energies that they have worn on their pretentious faces for many years, describing them as political pharisees and sadducees.
The statement added that, “Although, we have since commenced the reconciliation exercise of our members at various levels of the party across the state, it is obvious that most interest based conflicts in party politics do not end on a win win situation but on compromises and consensus building.
“But where some persons feel they are demagogues and having taking so much from the system and so decide to exhibit some acts of ingratitude by exiting the party as aledged, we in the Nasarawa State APC can’t wait to witness the exodus of such political pharisees and the Sadducees from the party to their new found political wilderness.
“Our position is reflective on the Hausa maxim which says: ‘Zama da munafiki gara barawo,” the statement reads further.
“Meanwhile, some prominent leaders of the mainstream opposition PDP are in talks with a former Minister from Keffi zone for his return to the party,” the party spokesman alleges.
“The leaders according to sources have identified the former Minister who enjoys enormous grassroots support and goodwill across the State in APC, as the ideal gubernatorial candidate for the 2027 general elections in the State”, Chief Otaru claimed..
In a swift reaction, the People’s Democratic party PDP in the state, positioned that the unintelligent publication made by the ruling APC spokesman apparently explained why an organised political party like PDP would not want to join issues with the ruling APC in the state.

said the attention has been drawn to a confused and apparently unintelligent publication allegedly made by the APC Publicity Secretary, Chief Douglas Otaru.
According to the statement, “first of all it is important to clear the air that it is not in our place or business to worry on who leaves APC or stays, neither it is our business to care if he described any of his members as Ingrates or “MUNAFIKI” as he puts it in hausa.
“But let it be on record that the PDP State chairman is a public officer and can be seen in pictures on social media with any personality if any, non the less Hon Mohammed who was a former Commissioner for justice and Attorney General in the state when Hon Orogu was a member of the state Assembly and Chairman public accounts committee. Besides, Mohammed was a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria from Nasarawa state and the last time I check, he had neither registered to join the PDP nor approached the party in that regard adding that if he or any persons wishes to join the PDP, they are welcome.
” Laughable however in the mischievous write up is the fact that the APC mouth piece in Nasarawa on one side condemned this alleged group of individuals and claimed they can’t wait to see them leave the party APC describing them as nuisance, political Pharisees and sadducees why on the other hand, has he swiftly become concerned if those he described as political Pharisees and sadducees are all picking tent with the mainstream opposition party”?, The statement queried.
“We think that if APC was a party to be prowed off, you aught not be worried if we are having discussions with those who have not added or are adding value to your party”, PDP added.
“Nevertheless, MR PRO let it be in your record that PDP as a political party has produced the best governorship candidate in the last election and defeated your candidate despite the Supreme court pronouncements on technicalities but the record are still visible. Nasarawa state people and Nigerians are aware of this fact, and we still have more of such candidates to beat the APC come 2027 therefore we don’t need to go out fishing for candidates from any political party to achieve our political set objectives”
“However, it is politically allowed if your secret intention is to market or promote the former minister for a governorship position because what politicians can not do does not exist.
