The management of Nasarawa State Waste Management and Sanitation Authority (NASWAMSA) has dismissed allegations that the agency is not working in accordance with its mandate, describing the allegation as baseless and a display of ignorance.
NASWAMSA in a In a statement issued and made available to Journalists in the state, explained that it operates under a law enacted by the State Assembly and guided by the government.
The agency emphasized that its employment and salary payment processes are overseen by the state government.
NASWAMSA however warned NATA’ALAH, a contracted company, against attempting to undermine the agency’s operations, stating that it will not be swayed by external influences, or hike to their failure to deliver on the over N7 million contract regardless of the profile of its sponsors.
The agency reiterated its loyalty to the executive governor emphasizing that it operation is within the ambit of the law.
