The National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC) is set to establish a mega state of the arts cultural market that promises to be the best and biggest in Africa.
This was disclosed by the Director General of the agency Otunba Olusegun Runsewe during the inauguration of the National Planning Committee (NPC) for the NIPR citizens summit on national integration, peace, and security.
Otunba who was also inaugurated as a member of the NPC, stated that it is time for us to tell ourselves the truth, else posterity will judge us. He decried that hence kidnapping has become an industry in Nigeria, investors are fast leaving the country.
While describing the summit as the next level movement for national integration, Otunba stressed on the need for the state governors to be fully briefed on the benefits of the summit to their respective states.
During an exclusive chat with TMS Correspondent on the sideline, Otunba hinted that the proposed Cultural market, promises to provide 500 jobs instantly upon its inauguration, which to some extent, will solve Nigeria’s employment problem.
