***Celebrates Andoma of Doma at 21 on the throne

The 2019/2023 Peoples Democratic Party PDP Governorship Candidate, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. David Emmanuel Ombugadu has called for unity of purpose, peace and togetherness amongst the citizens irrespective of party affiliation, religion and ethnic divide for the development of the state.
Dr Ombugadu who made the appeal at the weekend in Doma as a Special Guest of Honor at the Andoma’s Unity/Peace Cup Football Tournament Finals, noted that without peace, unity and togetherness, hearing for development ithe state would remain a mirage.
Represented by His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Yahaya Usman Ohinoyi, Ombugadu FIFA for organizing the tournament as a veritable tools for unity and peace.
The PDP 2023 governorship candidate stressed that the tournament which is organized in honour of the Andoma of Doma was in further cement the peaceful disposition of the Traditional Ruler to the mentenance of peace which the Local government is known for in the state and beyond.
flanked by Engr. Tanko Kigbu, Hon. Istifanus Abaku, Hon. Stella Innocent Oboshi, Alhaji Hussaini Mailafiya and the organizers presented the 1st position prize of a gigantic trophy/cash to the captain of Ene Boys.
He congratulated the monarch for holding the state in general and Doma in particular since his reign on the throne for over 21 years assured that he would continue to identify with the monarch, the council of chiefs and the entire Doma chief Doma.

On their parts, former two terms State Legislature and the PDP Deputy Governorship Candidate 2023 General Elections, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Yahaya Usman Ohinoyi appreciated the Doma Traditional Council under it able President, Alhaji Ahmadu Aliyu Ogah Onawo OON the Andoma of Doma cum the organizers for finding the Special Guest of Honor worthy of serving the on the historic and epoch making event while wished him long life, good health and lasting reign on the throne of his forefathers
It would be recalled that the tournament was the birthed by the Doma Football Association (DOFA) to honor and celebrate HRH Alhaji Ahmadu Aliyu Ogah Onawo OON, the Andoma of Doma 21st Anniversary on his ancestral throne.
Sixteen Teams lock horns from Group Stage through the knockout to the peak of the finals where the AYD Fc and Ene Boys made it to the finals.
Ene Boys got a lone goal victory over AYD Fc at the second half of the match after a goalless first half experience through a penalty as a result of rough tackled by AYD Fc defence.
Central Primary School play ground venue of the tournament was on Saturday 6th September, 2025, filled to capacity with football lovers, fans and guests who graced the event to honor the Chief celebrant for tighten the grip of the throne at 21 years.
Amidst jubilation by the Ene Boys players and fans, Alhaji Yakubu Ibrahim (Ogbole Gi-Doma), Alhaji Ibrahim Atukpa Adeka (Ogeyi Gi-Doma), Alhaji Hussaini Mailafiya Ka’Isan-Ediya/PDP chairman Doma LGA presented 2nd, 3rd and consolation prizes respectively to the deserving teams while Amb. Jacob Oboro Osama, Nasarawa State PDP Youth Leader hang Medals on 2nd and 3rd positions players.
