**** Says resignation long expected, a huge relieve to PDP

The people’s Democratic Party, (PDP) in Nasarawa State has asked its defected Public Relations Officer to repent from his several sins and serial betrayals against the party and ask for forgiveness from the people and, from God, his Maker.
This is even as the Party said ” the resignation of Mr. Ibrahim Hamza was long expected, and has neither significant effect on members nor the Party’s existence in the State.”
Speaking with Journalists while reacting to the news of the resignation from the party by the Public Relations Officer, Ibrahim Hamza, State Chairman of the party, Alhaji Bako Ninga, noted that the party have since put behind it the several antics of Ibrahim Hamza.
“We in the party have long known that our PRO was a PDP member in the daytime not just a member of the party but a cabinet member whose stock in trade mostly at nighttime was anchored on betrayal.
” We are happy and relieved that a man who has been working against us is out of the party with his antics His exit is a huge relieve to us”, the Chairman declared.
According to the Chairman, ” Our problem stems from the activities of our public relations officer who we are aware sold our victory to our opposition in 2023. We a quite aware of his role that robbed us of our victory for APC in the last elections, so going there is a return to a natural habitat of his type”, the chairman alleges.
He urged the party’s teeming supporters, stakeholders and people of the state to remain steadfast, committed, and resilient by being ever-ready and dedicated to salvaging the state through the instrumentality of PDP in the forthcoming general elections in 2027.
“We are not deterred or bothered by his exit from the party. You should remain committed and calm as the party is well prepared than ever before to reclaim its 2023 stolen mandate come 2027”.
It would be recalled that the PDP PRO had on Thursday tendered his resignation from the peoples Democratic Party in the state and joined the ruling APC.
Ibrahim Hamza has since visited and was exhibited before governor, Abdullah Alhaji Sule and the Chairman of APC, Aliyu Bello to pledge his loyalty to the APC in the state.
