A candidate for the National Chairmanship of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Engr. Conrad Terhide Utaan, has felicitated with President of the third Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Iyorchia Ayu, as he turns 72 years of age on Friday, November 15, 2024.
Utaan passed his words of felicitations in a statement signed by the Spokesperson of his National Chairmanship Campaign – 2024, Chief Bemgba Iortyom, and made available to newsmen in Makurdi on Friday.
Engr. Utaan said God Almighty must be praised above anyone else for His mercies and benevolence upon the life of Senator Ayu which has been marked by longevity and evident good health.
He expressed awe and admiration for what he sees as “the very tall tower of achievements” of the Elder Statesman who has served Nigeria as Number 3 Citizen and also variously as Minister of Education and Minister of Industries, among several other positions of national leadership.
“Most recently, the services rendered to the PDP by His Excellency Senator Ayu as Member of the Board of Trustees and eventually as National Chairman remain an indelible testament to his commitment to service to Nigeria in pursuit of the good of her citizens.”
He prayed God Almighty continue to shower His blessings in length of years and good health upon the former Senate President that humanity may celebrate many more birthday anniversaries with him, and to keep him under His protection and guide him in all his ways.
