The Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State, Hon Benjamin Omale has hailed the emergence of Professor Nantawe Yilwatda as the National Chairman of the party.
The APC Chief who spoke in Makurdi on Friday, said the emergence of Yilwatda would rejuvenate the party and build strong alliances across the nation.
He noted that hic election as the national champion signals a generational shift that aligns with the need for innovation, discipline, and renewed vision within the party.
In his words “The appointment of Professor Nentawe Yilwatda as National Chairman of the APC, I must say is a bold and strategic move by the party at a crucial time.
“Professor Nentawe brings to the table a rare blend of intellectual depth, digital-age thinking, and grassroots awareness.
“His emergence signals a generational shift, one that aligns with the need for innovation, discipline, and renewed vision within the party.”
Omale stated with him, the party is would be further repositioned for a competitive electoral process in 2027.
He said “As we look toward 2027, his appointment could reposition the APC as a youth-conscious, policy-driven, and forward-looking party.
“With his technocratic background and reformist mindset, I believe he has the capacity to reconcile internal divisions, rejuvenate party structures, and build strong alliances across Nigeria’s diverse political landscape.
“If the party gives him full backing, his leadership will likely translate to a more cohesive, inclusive, and electorally competitive APC in 2027 and beyond.”
