Governor of Niger State, Mohammed Umaru Bago has ordered the immediate suspension of the Vice Chancellor of the Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University Lapai, Professor Abu Kasim Adamu.
TMSNEWS gathered that the Governor also ordered the Vice Chancellor to hand over to the next ranking professor in the institution.
Professor Adamu who was due to complete his tenure by December this year, is allegedly being accused of insubordination and disobedient to constituted authority by the State Government
Impeccable Sources close to the University confirmed that Professor Hassan Ibrahim has been appointed to manage the institution in an acting capacity.
