An Islamic cleric, Sheik Abubakar Gumi has alleged that several Nigerian security operatives are involved in acts of aiding banditry in the country, as the criminal act has become big business.
He made this disclosure on Wednesday during an interview on Arise Television.
Sheik Gumi has always been on the forefront of negotiation between bandits and the Federal Government in recent cases of the bandits attacks and kidnappings.
