The immediate past Nasarawa State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP and the North-Central Zonal Secretary, Hon. Francis Orogu at the weekend was in Okene, Kogi State and honored the Senator representing Kogi-Central Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Natasha Udoughan.

In company of other high profile dignitaries from all walks of live across the nation, Hon. Francis Orogu (Akanaba 1 of Idoma Land) on behalf of the PDP National Working Committee (NWC) was flanked by PDP leaders of Kogi Central Senatorial District, associates , friends and family in the State and commission the most dogged Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria of all times, a true leader and the lane voice of the people, Senator Natasha Udoughan’s Two Years in Office Multi Million Naira Human Capital Empowerment Projects in Okene Kogi State.

In a remarks, Mr. Francis Orogu described Senator Natasha Udoughan as the shining example in the annals of Nigeria political landscape in recent times, urged her to keep the flame burning and the light shining despite the pressure and attacks from the minority enemies of democracy and good governance. “We are here today by your humble invitation to celebrate your landmark political achievements within few years in office. Indeed, your good works have gone down to history and your name is written in gold in the Guinness Book of Records and our Grate Party PDP is visibly proud of you for standing firm in hollow chamber of the National Assembly amidst pressure and unjust humiliations, yet you came out victorious and strong to provide good governance to the good people of your dear district. You are a clear shinning example for lovers of quality governance will emulate and a dependable candidate for the modern days elections” he said.

On the other hand, Hon. Orogu oppined that, the News of suspension and countered suspension of some members of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the main opposition party PDP is nothing short of another political drama ongoing on the stage, said that it will fade away with the passage of time. Therefore, party members and the general public to remain calm as hope for a better days ahead is assured.
