Just in: Senate postpones screening of ministerial nominees till Wednesday

Screening of the ministerial nominees sent to the National Assembly by president Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been put on hold.

 Senate announced the postponement of the scheduled for today.to Wednesday this week.

 The delay is to provide all nominees with sufficient time to complete their documentation and pre-screening processes.

The postponement is contained in a press statement signed by Senator Basheer Lado, Special Adviser to the President Tinubu on Senate Matters.

The Office of the Special Adviser to the President on Senate Matters appreciates the public’s understanding and cooperation.
