One person have been confirmed killed and several others kidnapped after terrorists suspected to be Fulani militias launched a late night attack on Kamazou (Pipeline) district in Chikun local government area of Karuna state, North West Nigeria on Monday April 4.
The terrorists also kidnapped a woman, her two children and four others from the community during the attack.
Confirming the attack, a resident of the community who spoke to this newspaper on condition of anonymity said a popular motorcyclist named Yellow in the area was killed by the terrorists.
“They came in at about 10pm and began to shoot sporadically as people run for their lives. They killed s popular Motorcyclist names Yellow in the community.
“They also kidnapped seven people including a woman and her two children.” He said.
Kaduna state has become the epicenter of insecurity in Nigeria. Recalled that last Monday, March 28, terrorists attacked a moving train along the Abuja Kaduna rail line, killing nine persons and abducting many.
