Leadership Crisis Rocks ADC In Nasarawa

A leadership crisis is brewing in the opposition coalition platform, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Nasarawa State, just two weeks after appointing new executives of the party, National Accord reports.

It would be recalled that some defectors from other parties met two Sundays ago met and appointed a former Deputy Governor, Chief Mike Abdul, as the caretaker chairman, while Alhaji Jibrin Sabo Keana as the secretary.

However, the substantive chairman of the opposition coalition platform, Mr. Alaku Godwin Williams, has disputed the legitimacy of the new leadership, stating, “I am the authentic chairman of ADC in Nasarawa State.”

The chairman who spoke to journalists on Tuesday in Akwanga, pointed out that so many aspirants contested on the platform of ADC in 2023, “so how can someone come from the blues and claim the chairmanship of the party today?
