My ambition will rewrite political history in Obudu, Cross River if elected— Hon. Francis Agaba

The candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Obudu state constituency in the Cross River state House of Assembly, Hon. Francis Agaba, has said that his emergence as NDC Obudu state constituency for the 2027 will significantly altered the political equation ahead of the 2027 contest.

He equally reaffirmed that his emergence will inject fresh energy, fresh ideas into the political landscape, opening a new chapter in the Obudu state assembly constituency evolving democratic journey and giving the electorate hope, good legislation, a proud. representation in the comity of lawmakers as well as other credible platform to consider as political activities gather momentum

Hon Agaba, a politician with considerable political experience and grassroots exposure, who stated this while speaking with Journalists in Utugwang, Obudu Local government Area during the community’s new yam celebration, affirmed that his entrance into the 2027 house of Assembly race would be reassuring.

“Coming with a message centred on inclusive leadership, good legislation, entrenchment of governance, development and a renewed commitment to the people of Obudu and cross River state my participation in the state lawmaking would be rewarding, reassuring.

Hon. Agaba whose candidacy has generated discussions across political circles, particularly among stakeholders who believe that the 2027 election should provide an opportunity for the people to carefully assess the records, competence, character and vision of every candidate seeking their mandate, promised to integrated, unite and harmonize all social activities that would galvanize development and unity of the people of Obudu constituency.

“For the NDC and its growing supporters, I will represent more than just another name on the ballot. My emergence is being projected as a new political option capable of challenging established narratives and broadening the choice available to voters across the streets of Obudu”, the astute politician declared

It would be recalled that across the Local Government Areas, political realignments, grassroots engagements are intensifying as voters prepare to give Hon Agaba overwhelming support, overwhelming votes for good legislation, good governance, as his candidacy is therefore changing the conversation and political narrative.
