NLTF to spearhead partnership with presidential CNG initiative

In a deliberate move to support the federal government’s efforts, create more employment opportunities and support affordable transportation, the National Lottery Trust Fund (NLTF) is to spread good cause through partnership with the Presidential CNG Initiative (Pi-CNG).

The Executive Secretary, Comrade Tosin Adeyanju who gave the indication when he paid a courtesy visit to the Pi-CNG headquarters in Abuja, praised President Tinubu for the initiative of introducing cheaper gas alternatives to Nigerians.

According to the Executive Secretary in a statement by his Special Assistant Media & Corporate Communications, Arowolo Solomon Alaba, NLTF seeks to explore partnership to train young Nigerians with neccesary skills on CNG especially in the areas of Vehicle conversion and repairs, creating new generation of technicians.

“We want to explore ways we can partner with you so that we can equip young Nigerians with skills in CNG vehicle conversion and repairs, creating a new generation of entrepreneurs and technicians.”

“We want this partnership to be a game-changer for Nigerian youth,” Adeyanju added. We want to provide training for rural mechanics on repairs of CNG vehicles, the statement added.

expressed gratitude for the Executive Secretary’s collaborative efforts.

He noted that the partnership would not only strengthen the initiative’s goal of deploying one million CNG vehicles by 2027, but will propel the ambitious plan starts with 21,000 units and aims to reach 150,000 by 2024.

“The Executive Secretary’s leadership has been instrumental in driving this vision, His dedication to uplifting the marginalized is truly inspiring.”, Oluwagbemi stated.
