The Nigerian Army has confirmed that some of the Islamic State of West African Province, ISWAP terrorists who attacked the Nigerian Army Institute of war and Peace studies in Buratai town on Monday evening.
A military source told TMS News that during the attack, the army tactically maneuvered and laid ambush for the terrorists which led to them suffering casualties.
“There was a small army post at Buratai village where Buratai institute for war and Peace is located.
“During the attack, the army tactically withdrew and killed some of the terrorists while others ran away with wounds.” The source said.
Recall that TMS News reported the attack by the terrorists which led to the destruction of some vehicles and infrastructures in the institute.
