Shira Local Government Legislative Council of Bauchi State has removed it’s chairman Abdullahi Ibrahim Beli and deputy chairman Usman Adamu over allegations of gross misconduct, financial mismanagement and failure to perform their duties.
This was contain in a resolution No: SLGLC 003 and signed by the council leader Wali Adamu and deputy council leader Abdullahi Wa
The Legislative Council had constituted a committee to investigate the allegations of gross misconduct, financial mismanagement and abuse of duties levied against the two principal officers of the council..
The council members said the committee’ s report found the chairman and his deputy guilty of the allegations.
The legislators after briefing the Media, said the removal of the council Chairman and his deputy was based on the report which indicated the two officers of the council.
Meanwhile, the council has declared the seats of the chairman and the deputy Vacant
