Breaking: Supreme Court Judgement: Nasarawa boiling over judgement

LAFIA– Protest has erupted in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital following the Supreme Court, which affirmed the election of Governor Abdullahi Sule.

 

The Lafia -Jos road linking Benue, other North East states has been completely blocked as the protesters barricaded the only highway linking other parts of the country burning tires along the road.

 

Shops, business centres banks as well as schools within the Lafia metropolis have abruptly closed.

 

Motorists are now compiled to take alternative routes to manoeuver their way out of Lafia the Nasarawa State capital.

 

In an interview, an automobile mechanic Mallam Dogo Audu called for the deployment of more security operatives to restore calm, especially in the state capital.
