Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State has set a leading example by signing into law the bill for the independence, and financial autonomy of the Legislative and Judicial arm of government in Sokoto State.
Tambuwal signed the bill into law alongside other numerous bills at the Council Chamber, Sokoto State Government House, Sokoto State on Wednesday.
The autonomy bill for these two arms of government has been a controversial issue on the public space recently, as most state governors are unwilling to sign it into law in their respective states.
