PDP NWC Constitute State Caretaker Committee in Zamfara

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) has approved the appointment of a Caretaker Committee to pilot the affairs of the party in Zamfara state.

This approval which is pursuant of the section 29(2)(b) of the PDP Constitution 2017 as amended, mandates the caretaker committee to oversee the affairs of the party for a period of not more than 90 days, until when a new state executive is elected.

In a statement released by the national publicity secretary Kola Ologbondiyan, all party leaders, critical stakeholders, teeming members and supporters of the party in Zamfara state are encouraged to remain united as they collectively reclaim their mandate in the state and move the party forword.

The newly appointed members of the state caretaker committee include:

  • Barmo Abdullahi Kanoma – Member
  • Muhammadu Dan GwammaGummi – Member
  • Usmatu MaharazuMarafa – Member

  • Abba BelloOando (Youth)
