Nasarawa Speaker turbans Santuraki Koron-Kuje, advocates harmonious living among citizens.

Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau has called on community leaders and traditional rulers in the State to champion harmonious living among the different nationalities for peace, unity and development to thrive.

The Speaker made the call shorty after the conferment of a Chieftaincy tittle of Santuraki Koron-Kuje on him by the Koron Kuje traditional council in B.A.D, Lafia local government today.

Speaker Jatau said that peace is non negotiable, hence the need for community leaders and traditional rulers to preach and ensure peace in their domains at all times.

” Peace is the necessary requirement for the development of any society.

” as peace is priceless and non negotiable” he said.

The Speaker appreciated Koron-Kuje Traditional Council for the traditional title and pledged to continue to provide all inclusive leadership in the House .

” I want to appreciate the Koron-Kuje Traditional Council for the title of Santuraki Koron-Kuje

” I will continue to provide all inclusive leadership in the state” he said.

Jatau also called on the people of the state to support Gov. Abdullahi Sule’s administration to succeed.

Aside the Speaker, member representing Lafia North Constituency, Barr. Esson Mairiga and his Lafia Central counterpart, Hon. Solomon Yakubu Akwashiki were conferred with the traditional tittles of Walin Koron-Kuje and Jarami Koron-Kuje respectively.

Among the 47 traditional titleholders is a philanthropist and state chairman, All Farmers Association of Nigeria, Amb. Isaac Kigbu, among other speakers who reminded traditional titleholders that crown comes with responsibilities.

Chariman of the occasion and Former Federal Lawmaker, Dr Joseph Haruna Kigbu called on the state government to construct Lafia B.A.D road due to its socio-economic importance.

It would be reported that it was a display of royalty to it pick at B.A.D in Lafia Local Government as the Koron-Kuje traditional council conferred traditional tittles to 47 illustrious sons and daughters of Eggon land.
