Elder statesman and frontline PDP chieftain, Hon Matthew Akwe has asserted that 70% of PDP faithfuls are behind the leadership of the Alh Adamu Ninga led State Working C’ttee of Nasarawa state.
Elder Akwe stated this Tuesday while receiving a delegation of the PDP leaders in his residence in Doma.
The former Deputy Speaker of the old Plateau State House of Assembly, urged the team not to be distracted with the ongoing court case.
Saying, “70% of PDP in the state are behind you, so don’t be distracted from your given mandate”.
“Take my blessings, God will open the doors of success for you. Going to the court to turn down the will of the majority is like seeking for injustice which may take the whole tenure of 4 years in the process.
“One thing I can assure you is that PDP can not be uprooted in Nasarawa state.
Work with the people at the grassroot as always.
“Be guided as experienced politicians hardly relay on court but their structure.”
