Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state had nominated and forwarded names of 16 Commissioners to be screened and confirmed by the state House of Assembly.
The list of the commissioners nominee was unveil Monday by the Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Danladi Jatau
in the list submitted to the House and obtained by TMSnews shows that six of the former Commissioners have been renominated into the state cabinet while two of the former Lawmakers including former Majority Leader of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly Hon. Umar Tanko Tunga and the former Most ranking member of the State Assembly Hon. Mohammed Agah Muluku.
have also been nominated to serve as commissioners if cleared.
“Out of the 16, six are returning commissioners, 10 new ones and in all 13 male, 3 female” .
The commissioner nominees have been urge to submit 30 copies of their Curriculum Vitae(CV) to the House on or before Thursday this week are expected to appear for Screening Monday next week
“ The nominees include Yakubu Kwanta from Akwanga LGA, Hon. Tanko Tunga from Awe LGA, Hajiya Munirat Abdullahi and Gabriel Agbashi from Doma LGA, Barr. Isaac Danladi Amadu, Karu LGA, Princess Margret Itaki Elayo Keana, Dr Ibrahim Tanko Keffi and Dr John DW Mamman Kokona LGA.
Others are Hon Aminu Mu’azu Maifata the immediate past ALGON National President and CP Usman Baba (Rtd) also from Lafia LGA, Hon. Mohammed Sani Ottos the immediate past Chairman of Nasarawa LGA, Hon. Mohammed Agah Muluku Nassarawa Eggon LGA, Barr. David Moyi, Obi LGA, Dr. Gaza Gwamna Toto LGA, Barr Judbo Hauwa Samuel and Hon. Muazu Gosho from Wamba LGA.
It would be recalled that two former state lawmakers and six immediate past commissioners made up the list and out of the 16 commissioners 3 are female.
