Nasarawa Labour Party Chastises Ewuga over Planned Defection

 

The Governorship Candidate of the Labour Party , LP in the just concluded Governorship elections in Nasarawa State, Engineer Joseph Ewuga Ewudun, has urge for calm amongst people of the state and particularly, supporters of the Labour Party in view of the emerging political scenerio in Lafia.

Engr Ewuga said the purported defection by Senator Solomon Aku Ewuga to the APC is nothing to worry about, because he only succeeded in making himself available as a political misfortune that can be aquired during negotiations in the dark whole seeking for an elusive political office that only exists within him. Furthermore he reminisces

on the activities of Senator Solomon Aku Ewuga during the 2015 general elections when he was made lots of promises which led to the forceful takeaway of the Senatorial sit won by Senator Yusuf Nagogo from Wamba whose short stay in the National Assembly was eventful and impactful because he worked and walked the talk for the Senatorial District. In the statement, the LP Candidate reminded Senator Ewuga of the crisis that arose in Assaikio Development Area where many lives were lost because of him and the very serious aftermath of the Ombatse saga which left many people displaced while their properties worth millions of Naira perished.

 

He further emphasized that “Elder Solomon Aku Ewuga should be apologizing to the people of Nasarawa North Senatorial District because of how he swindled them by deceiving them to register with money for an expected Federal Government of Nigeria approved loans while he was a senator. The statement further advised Elder Solomon Aku Ewuga to take a look at his age and present status in the community he represented in the Senate before taking any political actions that could bring him to redicule. According to the statement which was signed by Jones Iliya Shammah of the Media Unit of the Labour Party in behalf of the Governorship Candidate, Engr Joseph Ewuga appealed to members of the labour party in Nasarawa State not to be dismayed with what is happening now because of the purported defection by Senator Elder Solomon Aku Ewuga to the APC, but keep faith on the Nasarawa State Governorship Election which the Labour Party in the state worked jointly with the PDP and her Governorship Candidate Dr David Emmanuel Ombugadu to actualise. “The struggle is real, and it is on.” He added.
