In the journey toward credible representation, results remain the most reliable measure of leadership. Eng. Kefas Danladi Laura has distinguished himself not by lofty promises, but by tangible outcomes that have touched lives and strengthened communities across Nasarawa state especially the western senatorial district.
His track record reflects a leader who understands that public office is a responsibility to deliver, not an opportunity to experiment.
End. Kefas years in public service including politics have been marked by purposeful engagement and people-centered initiatives , to interventions that improved access to opportunities, his approach has always been rooted in practical impact.
Speaking at the declaration of his intention and interest to represent Nasarawa West senatorial district at the Senate, the PDP aspirant said representation requires more than visibility, adding that it demands experience, clarity of purpose, and the ability to navigate complex national issues while staying grounded in local realities.
“These are not abstract achievements,they are real and measurable efforts that have translated into real change for constituents”.
According to the senatorial aspirant who doubles as the state secretary of the opposition People’s Democratic party, “in Nasarawa West, it is only Karu local government that was still lacking behind in terms of governorship and senatorial position.
While calling for unity of purpose within the party, the district and the state at large, kefas promised to prove all inclusive legislation that would attract federal presence.
Eng. Kefas who expressed concerns that Karu as the most outstanding revenue generation local government in Nasarawa state was yet to receive the attention it deserved.
“I have the experience, the quality and qualifications required. I will bring my worth of exposure, connections to bear if given the mandate to represent our people in the Senate”, the aspirant assured.
He appealed for unity, understanding, teamwork stressing that PDP remained the most cherished, formidable and well structured to provide the most needed dividends of democracy in Nasarawa state despite its long challenges.
“We should unite, work together, shun rumours, bring down syndrome if we must make a difference in our collective resolve to reclaim our rightful position the the leading party in Nasarawa state”.
Other critical stakeholders who spoke during the declaration in Karu and Keffi were unanimous on the candidature of Eng. Kefas who they described as ‘ reliable, dependable’.
According to the stakeholders, “We are gathered here today and we want to appeal to all our members to unite, work together and shun individualistic tendencies in our resolve to realize our set goal in 2027.
