Eid-El-Kabir: Police Commissioner Enemari Orders Tight Security Ahead of Celebration

Benue State Commissioner of Police, CP Ifeanyi Emenari, has ordered water tight security measures at all public places ahead of the of Eid-El-Kabir celebration.

Emenari, who stated this in a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) DSP Udeme Edet, said all worship centres/praying grounds, major highways and flash points across the State would be manned to forestall any threat to life and property and ensure a peaceful Sallah celebration.

T: he Commissioner, on behalf of the officers of the Command extended warm wishes to the Muslim community in the State ahead of the Ed-El-Kabir celebrations and urged them to be security conscious.

He assured of public safety and urges all residents of the State to go about their daily activities without fear, saying that adequate security personnel will be deployed to strategic locations to guarantee safety.

He also appealed to worshipers to adhere to security guidelines, be law-abiding and conduct themselves peacefully throughout the period of celebration.
