Nigerian First Lady, senator Oluremi Tinubu says about one thousand youths will be trained on cyber security and digital forensics through the digital learning centers under the renewed hope initiative in nasarawa state.
The first Lady stated this at commissioning and handover of digital learning center in Lafia and other states of the federation.
Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu said the program designed to train youths on weekly basis from now till December next year ,is aimed at tackling cyber crimes in the country and to enhance proper learning to the teeming youths to became self reliant in the country.
In a remark, the Director General of NITDA ,Malam Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi said digitalization is key in the transformation agenda of the current administration government.
Malam Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi explained that the agency is targeting another 148 additional digital learning centers.
Also speaking, the Director General of the Nasarawa State Information Technology and Digital Economy Agency, Sani Haruna Sani said the center will serve as hub for digital literacy project and cyber security as well digital forensics.
He urged the teeming youths of the state to take the advantage and acquire skills in digital learning to transform and contribute their quota to the growth of the state economy and nation in general.
