Allege recruitment Scandal Chairman, members of TSC suspended in Nasarawa

The Nasarawa State: Governor Engr. Abdullahi A.Sule has ordered the immediate suspension of the

 Chairman and members of the Nasarawa State Teachers Service Commission have been suspended following their alleged involvement in recruitment Scandal of over 1000 illegal teachers in the state.

It would be recalled that the Governor had earlier directed that 1000 teachers be recruited to bill up vacancies in the Commission.

The suspension of the TSC Chairman and other members City post understand followed the public out cry in the state over alleged non payment of salaries, to the recruited teachers ordered to be recruited by Governor Abdullahi Sule.

Angered by the alleged scandal in the commission which City Post learnt led to the governor’s decision to summoned a meeting of members of the TSC, Commissioner and other officials of the State Ministry of Education.

During their submissions at the meeting hat the government House, the members of the Teachers Service Commission admitted to employing over one thousand teachers without due approval.

Governor Abdullahi Sule has also ordered for the setting up of a committee to investigate the illegal recruitment and submit a comprehensive report for further action.
