The Lead Counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Barr. Ifeanyi Ejiofor has disclosed that the international community and indeed everyone is aware Nnamdi Kanu is been detained in the facility of the Department of State Services (DSS) and that if anything should happen to him, the DSS and indeed the federal government should be held responsible.
Ejiofor who made the disclosure while speaking to newsmen at the Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday, revealed that he has been denied access to see Kanu his Client for over eight days now coupled with the inability of the DSS to produce him in court today is worrisome.
The Legal Counsel stated that from the onset, his arrest by the federal government was a gross violation of legal protocol, because Kanu should have been subjected to extradition proceedings which is the right procedure to follow.
