Extols Legacies of two Former Military Governors on their Birthdays

Former President Goodluck Jonathan has been described as the best Nigeria and African whose through international engagements has continued to demonstrate commitment and dedication to the betterment of Nigeria and the Africa continent,
Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger state, stated this in a congratulatory message issued in Minna to celebrate the Ex- President on his 67th birthday
In the message issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the farmer Governor describes the celebrant as a humble and committed leader.
“I commend the tremendous contributions of the former President to nation-building. This event serves not only as a birthday celebration but also as an acknowledgment of your efforts in enduring peace in Nigeria and many other countries in Africa”.
Bago prayed for God to grant the celebrant good health, more years and wisdom to continue serving humanity.
In the same vein, Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has extolled the legacies and contributions of former military administrators of the state, Colonels Lawan Gwadabe and Habibu Shuaibu during reigns as governors of Niger State, saying they made regimes tremendous positive impact on the state and its citizens.
Bago stated this in a congratulatory message to celebrants the birthdays of Colonels Gwadabe and Shuaibu as they turned 75th and 70th years respectively.
In the birthday felicitations issued by his Chief Press Secretary Bologi Ibrahim, the Governor said, ” I am celebrating not only their birthdays but also the enduring legacies of the leadership and services to humanity they provided to Niger state”.
Col. Gwadabe serves the State from 1987 to 1992 while Col. Shuaibu piloted the affairs of the state between 1998 and 1999
“I hereby extend warm birthday wishes to the former leaders, recognising their significant contributions to the growth and development of Niger State during their respective regimes”, he said.
Bago specifically recounted the invaluable contributions of Col. Gwadabe to peaceful boundary adjustments, rural development and nomadic education which stimulated stability, growth, and development of the State.
He equally recalls how Col. Shuaibu ensured a peaceful and smooth transition of power from the Military regime to Democracy in 1999 in Niger State.
According to him, “the efforts of the celebrants have positively and tremendously impacted on the state and its citizenry”.
He observed the importance of unity and collaboration among all leaders, adding that leaders should always honour contributions of their predecessors and equally look forward to working together for the growth and development of the state.
While appreciating God for making the celebrants attain remarkable ages in life, the farmer Governor prays for God to grant them more blessed years, wisdom and sound health.
