NYSC: DG Charges Corps Members To Obtain Permission Before Travelling

The Director General, National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier-General Shuaibu Ibrahim, has stressed on the need for Corps members to seek permission before travelling out of their state of deployment.

Shuaibu who stated this during the swearing in of Batch “B” Stream 1 corps members on Monday, at the NYSC Orientation Camp, Amada, Gombe State, reacted in view of the spate of road accidents and security challenges in the country.

“Recently, corps members have been involved in motor accidents, therefore, it is mandatory to take permission before embarking on a journey,” he said.

The DG who further advised Corps members to eschew criminal activities, particularly cybercrime, during their service year and to always promote the unity of the country, by letting the spirit of the NYSC live in them.
