Thousands of All Progressive Congress (APC) members in Tunga Community, Azara Development Area, Awe Local Government Area of Nasarawa State said they have ‘seen the light’ after dumping the Broom party, APC and embracing the focused and peoples oriented umbrella party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Friday.
Mallam Zakari Abdullahi Ayole who spoke on the behalf of the leader of the decampees, said prior to their wise decision of joining PDP they made a wide consultation and analysis ranging from the State of the Nation, poor Economic Standard, hunger/hardship and bad governance among other things occasioned by the APC led government and found out that Peoples Democratic party PDP has what it takes to provide and guarantee good governance and economic balance.
The decampees were received by Hon. Paul Aduniya, PDP Southern Zonal Secretary General. The new members unanimously promised to work assiduously with the leadership of PDP in Nasarawa State under the able watch of Hon. Francis Orogu through the Rescue and Rebuild Nasarawa/Nigeria Mission to deliver PDP and her Candidates at all levels come 2023 God’s Willing in order to usher in a new breath of life into the system and to enkindle a new hope for better, free and convenient life.
On behalf of the PDP State Working Committee (SWC), Hon. Paul Aduniya admonished the decampees to join other PDP faithful to participate in the ongoing PDP e-membership registration exercise to become full members of the strongest opposition party in the country that is on the verge of taking power in 2023 in order to save the soul of Nigeria and Nigerians.
