Former governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has distanced himself from reports linking him to the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the 2023 general elections.
Fayose was accused to have said that he had nothing against Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and Peter Obi of the Labour Party, (LP ) but Tinubu was his choice.
“I have nothing against Atiku, Peter Obi is not my enemy but JAGABAN is my choice,” Fayose was alleged to have tweeted.
However, the politician debunked the narration, saying he hasn’t made any endorsement yet.
Ex Gov Fayose is presently in the PDP camp with Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike.
The camp which is currently bittered following the Vice presidential pick of Gov Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta by the presidential candidate of the PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
