President Bola Tinubu, Tuesday met with Rivers State governor, Siminalayi Fubara, FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, and the leaders of Ogoni land from four local government areas of River State.
The meeting which held at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa in Abuja. had on the delegations Senators Lee Maeba, Magnus Abe, Olaka Nwogu, Chief Victor Giadom, Chief Kenneth Kobani, Monsignor Pius Kii, Leedom Mitee, Senators Bennett Birabi, Barry Mpigi, Chief Keneth Kobani, Prof.B. Fakae, amongst others.
Others were some of the Tinubu cabinet members; National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, Minister of Information and National Orientation, Idris Mohammed, Minister of Regional Development, Abubakar Momoh, Minister of Environment, Balarabe Abbas, Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited NNPCL, Mele Kyari.
Details of the meeting was not made known at the time of filling this report,but sources close to the presidential villa said ithe meeting was not unconnected with the unending feud between the FCT minister Nyeson Wike and Governor Siminalayi Fubara tailored at finding an end to the prolonged crisis.
