Peoples Democratic party PDP gubernatorial candidate in 2023 Emmanuel David Ombugadu has clarified that his decision to join APC earlier was driven by a desire to deliver President Tinubu’s agenda in Nasarawa State.
Speaking during his visit to the Correspondents Chapel office in Lafia, the 2019 and 2023 PDP gubernatorial candidate in Nasarawa State, said he would have remained in APC to pursue whatever ambition he has but he encountered frustration, which led to his return to PDP.
He emphasized that his return to PDP will not hinder his commitment to working towards the victory of President Tinubu in 2027.
Ombugadu expressed his commitment to working for the president, citing the award of the Akwanga-Jos road contract as a motivating factor.
He stated that he lost friends due to poor road conditions and is determined to support the president’s infrastructure development efforts after the president awarded the contract of Akwanga-Jos road construction.a
