The Renewed Hope Interfaith Movement has commenced mobilization of Benue citizens to ensure the reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Hyacinth Alia in the forthcoming 2027 presidential and gubernatorial elections.
Members of the movement stated this during a meeting in Makurdi saying that the two leaders deserve reelection to enable them return to consolidate on their good governance.
Addressing members of the movement, the Director General, Hon. King Samuel urged all members to work in unity for the progress of the movement and expressed the belief that Benue people would give their mandate to President Tinubu and Governor Alia in 2027 elections.
The DG informed that all the support groups have been collapsed in the Benue State Amalgamated APC Support Group for Tinubu/Alia 2027, a subsidiary of the Renewed Hope Interfaith Movement, explaining that all members belong to various faiths even as they were also working for the success of President Tinubu and Governor Alia.
The State Director of the movement, Bishop Mike Angou appealed for peace and cooperation of members and stressed the importance of collapsing the numerous support groups in the Benue State APC Amalgamated Support Group for Tinubu/Alia 2027 elections.
In their separate remarks, the State Coordinators for Christians and Muslims, Pastor Paul Ochomma and Mallam Baba Ahmed respectively, said they were responsible for the coordination of members of their faiths and appealed for cooperation of the members for the success of their candidates.
Also, the Sarkin Hausawa, Iman Sani Yusuf who represented the traditional institution urged members of the movement not to derail but remain focused and committed to achieve success in their project.
As part of activities to actualize the vision of the movement, members agreed on a one million man march on April 20, 2026, in partnership with the state amalgamated APC support group inclusion forum for Tinubu/ Alia 2027.
