EFCC Arrests 15 Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Abuja

Operatives of the Makurdi Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, said they have arrested 15 suspected internet fraudsters in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, FCT.

This was contained in a statement signed by the head of Media d Publicity, Delete Oyewole and made available to newsmen in Makurdi on Tuesday

The statement said the suspects were arrested in Amax Apartment, Guzape, following credible intelligence that linked them to fraudulent internet activities.

Items recovered from them include a Toyota Highlander with customized registration number (BORNO AAA) and phones.

According to the statement the suspects have made useful statements and would be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
