By TMSnews

Two Nigerian air force instructors have been killed in an air crash involving an air force training jet in Kaduna.

The incident was said to have happened at the Nigerian air force base in the North western state on Tuesday afternoon, a military source told TMSnews on condition of anonymity.

The source confirmed that the two instructors died in the crash and that the Muslim among them had been buried according to Islamic rites.

Today’s crash is coming 11 months after a NAF aircraft crashed in Kaduna killing the then Chief of Army Staff Ibrahim Attahiru and 10 other military officers.

In March 2021, a military jet also crashed in Sambisa forest with two crew members onboard.

In July 2021, bandits operating in Kaduna shot down an air force Alfa jet, forcing the pilot, Flight Lt Abayomi Dairo to eject the jet and run for his life.

In all of these crashes, the air force is yet to conclude any investigation on the causes of such ugly incidences.
