Nasarawa born Journalist, Hon. Jonathan Ipaa Ashinjo, JP has been appointed to head the media and strategic communication directorate of frontline governorship aspirants, Maj Gen Nuhun Angbazo (Rtd) in Nasarawa state.
Ipaa, a seasoned veteran journalist with enviable reputation in the Nigerian media made the development known in a message to his colleagues in the media on Monday.
The message reads in parts;
“Dear colleague,
Director, Media & Strategic Communication Angbazo 2023:
Yours sincerely have been appointed as the Director, Media & Strategic Communication to a frontline Governorship aspirant, Maj Gen Nuhu Angbazo.
“The Governorship campaign organization is being inaugrated @ Kini hotel, Akwanga.
In this capacity, I am expected to market the retired 2-Star-General to emerge as the PDP’s candidate, Nasarawa state 2023 Governorship election.
Ipaa who is also the president of The Middle Belt Journalists Forum, solicited the support of his colleagues towards the success of his new assignment and to ensure that Angbazo emerges the flag bearer of the PDP in the state.
“I will therefore, request for your kind support for the overall success of my assignment.
“I will further appeal for the support of the great PDP in rescuing Nasarawa state and Nigeria back to the path of development.” He said.
