Just in: Kano governor, sacks SSG, 4 Commissioners, others in cabinet shake up

Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has relieved the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Baffa Bichi, and Baba Dantiye of their duties. Alongside four commissioners have also been removed from their positions.

The decision, announced earlier Thursday, is seen as part of ongoing efforts to restructure the state government for improved efficiency.
