Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang said his administration will remain committed, steadfast to the transformation of the state for the benefit and prosperity of its citizens.

Speaking during during a Sunday service at COCIN LCC, Garki, RCC, the governor who reassured the people of plateau that 2025 would be a year of glory and excellence for believers, expressed confidence that while challenges may persist, victory is assured through God’s guidance.

Reiterating his administration’s goal of rewriting Plateau State’s narrative in a statement by his Director of press and public Affairs Gyang Bere, the Governor lamented past efforts to bring down the reputation of the state asserted that “Jos remains the most peaceful and cleanest city in Northern Nigeria.”

 He emphasized his openness to innovative ideas that can drive the state forward, noting that his administration does not claim a monopoly on knowledge.

Commenting on the success of the 2024 Christmas Carol and Praise Festival, which attracted dignitaries from across the nation, Governor Mutfwang announced plans to make the 2025 edition more impactful.

“I am confident in facing tomorrow because our future is in God’s hands,” the Governor declared. “The Lord will help us overcome every obstacle. Let us remember that our economy is not dependent on earthly circumstances. God budgeted for your existence before you were born, and your life is no accident.”

While expressing profound gratitude to Plateau citizens for their prayers, support, and encouragement. the governor reiterated his readiness to receive counsel and constructive advice that will enhance the state’s development.

The guest preacher, Elder Yunana Malo who took his scripture reading from Jeremiah 15:16 and delivered a sermon titled “Knowing Christ and the Power of His Resurrection.”, urged believers to immerse themselves in God’s word, highlighting its role as the primary means of communication with God.

“No one can truly submit to God without being grounded in His word,” Elder Malo stated. “The word of God equips us with inspiration, direction, and instruction, addressing every aspect of life. Our victory is assured in Christ Jesus.”
